Vegan Cajun Pizza with Soy Curls – Yeast Free & Oil Free-3 ingredient crust

A homemade Vegan pizza crust with only 3 ingredients – completely yeast free and oil free! This Vegan Cajun Chicken Pizza will seriously blow your mind, it’s that good. The dough can withstand any toppings – I used soy curls which are a bit on the heavy side and it still cooked through completely. You can customize the pizza with any toppings of your choice, but trust me you will absolutely LOVE this pizza.

How do you cook soy curls?
Soy curls come dehydrated, so you’re going to have rehydrate them before you use them. Take your soy curls and pour boiling water over it, let them soak for at least 10 minutes. You’ll notice the soy curls starting to expand and plump up. After 10 minutes, drain the soy curls and rinse in cold water.
Before you can cook the soy curls you have to remove all the excess moisture. Take some of the soy curls in your hands and squeeze out all the moisture, then transfer to a clean bowl. Your soy curls are now ready to use and cook.

Where can I buy the soy curls?
I used Butler brand and was able to purchase them from Amazon (link below)

Homemade Pizza Crust in just 3 ingredients!!
Because my husband has IBD he can’t have yeast or oil, but he LOVES pizza – so I had to be super creative with this crust. I tried this with so many added flours along with the all purpose, and it just wasn’t as good as my simplified recipe, which only has 3 ingredients. Yep, that’s right…only 3 ingredients! It’s just flour, salt, and warm water – nothing else. Let me just tell you that this pizza dough is AMAZING! It holds all toppings, even heavy soy curls and cooks evenly through completely.

What’s the best cheese to use for the pizza?
You can really use any cheese you prefer – there are several Vegan store bought shreds that melt really well for pizza. I chose to use my homemade ricotta cheese (without the spinach) and just added that all over. You can also use some homemade cashew cream as the cheese (which is definitely the family favorite). Both are linked down below to view 🙂
