Have some leftover rice? Great! Make some fried rice! It's super easy to make and tastes EXACTLY like take out. This recipe is a healthy alternative to take out and is completely OIL FREE. Best part is you can customize it with any vegetables of your choice. I love how easy this recipe is to put together - there's really no wrong way of making it. Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup diced mushroom
  • 1 bunch chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup broccoli
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Tamari
  • 1/2 tsp chili paste
Ingredients

Instructions
  1. In a hot wok, saute the mushrooms until they're soft.
  2. Add in the frozen peas, green onions, broccoli, carrots, and garlic - mix until well combined.
  3. Add in the hoisin sauce, tamari, and chili paste and mix. Cover the wok with a lid and let the veggies steam for about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the lid and mix. Add in the cooked rice and mix until the rice and vegetables are completely incorporated.
  5. Keep stirring the fried rice until they've slightly browned
