Chocolate covered peanut butter Christmas Tree truffles are seriously my favorite thing all December so far! They make the cutest little Holiday treat (or gift) and it’s super easy to whip up and make. Best part about this recipe is that it’s made without adding any oil, without adding any refined sugar, and it’s gluten free.

Does this recipe only work with Christmas Trees?
Nope :) Best part about this recipe is that you can use it for any shape you'd like or just the traditional ball shape of the truffle too. Either way works with this recipe, no changes needed.
What's the best peanut butter to use?
I LOVE love LOVEEEE Good & Gather's Creamy Stir Peanut Butter (it's only ingredient is roasted peanuts), but really any creamy peanut butter will work with this recipe. I would just taste it beforehand so you can adjust your level of sweetness (some PBs are sweeter than others).

What toppings should I use?
Get creative! Use any toppings you'd like. I just used sprinkles for mine, but you can decorate with chocolate or even add chopped nuts if you'd like.
How should I store these?
At room temperature would be best. If you keep them in the fridge they will start to get moisture and it can change the texture of the tree truffles and chocolate.

Most cookie cutters are pretty large, will these be just as big?
It really depends on the cookie cutter you use. I recommend using a
mini Christmas Tree cookie cutter if you can find one. Mine broke (boooo) so I used a smaller one and it was still a bit large for me.
