Best Mother's Day Gifts Your Mom Will Actually Love

Stuck on what to buy for mom this Mother's Day? Looking for a last minute gift idea? Check out some of these great gifts for mom that will make her PROUD!

I bought my mom a household cleaning item once.... it did not end well for me. My mom can get a bit picky when it comes to presents (she reminds me of Rachel from Friends). So, every year I always have to make sure I'm on my A game when getting her gifts. I'm also a really last minute shopper, so I use Amazon for Prime shipping or Target to order online and pickup in store.

1. Google Home Mini ($39) or Google Home ($99) -

Okay, here's the thing on the Google Home products - you don't have to know much about tech to enjoy them. They're easy to set up (hello, that's what kids are for) and the rest is easy peasy. I have a Google Home Mini in every room of my house and a Google Home in my living room/kitchen. It has honestly made my life SO much easier (especially while I'm cooking). I tell my Google Home to play Friends on Netflix while I cook, or set a timer while I'm backing, set reminder, measurement conversions, and so much more.

My favorite feature is being able to tell my Google Home (or mini) to add items to my Grocery List. When I'm ready to go shopping, all my listed items are right there for me in my Google Home App. It really doesn't get easier than that. I bought my parents a Google Home Mini for Christmas and they absolutely love it! They play songs on there, ask what the weather will be like in certain places, and broadcast to other Google devices. This is definitely one of my favorite gifts for anyone on any occasion.

2. Kate Spade Alphabet Necklace $58

I've bought this gift for a couple family/friends who are new moms and they have absolutely loved it! It's super trendy and goes with just about anything. I love everything Kate Spade to be honest. It's all really cute, affordable, and there's something for all ages. This necklace doesn't necessarily have to be for mom, but can be for any lady in your life for any occasion. Definitely a great buy!

3. Chesapeake Bay Mind & Body Scented Candle $7-$14 (price varies by scent/mood)

Seriously! Who doesn't love candles? I'm constantly on the hunt for new scented candles and I just recently found these on Amazon. They have crazy good reviews and there's a candle for every mood- how cool is that? They all smell incredible and have become my go-to's for whenever I need a new candle. My favorite so far is definitely the Joy & Laughter scent.

4. Bella Electric Ceramic Tea Kettle $36

Okay, yes, this is a household item...BUT, this is SUCH an amazing find. It's an all electric ceramic kettle. I had the plain looking steel one that didn't match ANY of my decor (which is all gray, white, & blue), so was constantly looking for different options. I saw this ceramic kettle at my aunt's house and instantly fell in love. $36 definitely well spent with this beauty! They have many different designs and colors, but this one matched my decor perfectly!

5. Kate Spade Insulated Lunch Tote $30

Nothing says trendy mom like this chic and adorable Kate Spade lunch tote. There's so much room in this cute tote, it fits my lunch and plenty of snacks. $30 for this isn't really bad to be honest, I've spent around that much on 'high-end' bags and it wasn't nearly as good as this one. PLUS, it's insulated!!! It will keep your food hot/cold the whole time, definitely an added bonus.
