Nutella Mousse- one of my all time weaknesses before I became Vegan. It's so rich and smooth...and oh my, just perfect. It's literally the definition of perfection. I used to be quite intimidated by making any kind of mousse and actually came up with this recipe by mistake.
I was creating a recipe for Nutella Cheesecake and halfway through when I did my typical taste test (always a must), I realized I came up with something..magical. This Nutella Mousse can be used for anything, absolutely anything. You can use it as a base for Nutella Cheesecake, Brownie Nutella Trifle, Nutella Mousse Bites, or just Nutella Mousse as is.
It's literally only 4 ingredients and are common household ingredients you'd usually have on hand, so no need to go out especially to buy them.
Fair warning: once you try this, you will be addicted. It will be your new favorite dessert.
Serving Size: 4
1/2 cup of Nutella
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
6 oz Cream Cheese
4 oz Cool Whip (and more for later)
1. Combine the Nutella, vanilla extract, & cream cheese in your stand mixer. (You can use your electric mixer as well, if you prefer).
3. Make sure to scrap down the sides every few seconds to make sure the cream cheese & Nutella are well combine.
4. Add in the cool whip & fold it in with the Nutella Cream Cheese mix. You do not want to overmix with the cool whip. Keep folding until you don't see anymore white. Voila- you just created some amazing Nutella Mousse.
